How do I change info from last year? (email, address, password)?

Answer

You can change email address by signing into your online TurboTax account.

Note: You can sign in to the online version of TurboTax for any tax year to update your account info but note that the instructions to update your info are slightly different depending on the tax year you sign into.

 

TurboTax for tax year 2018:

  1. Sign in to TurboTax for tax year 2018: https://ww1.2018.turbotaxonline.intuit.ca/
  2. In the menu on the left, select Account settings.
  3. In Account Settings, in the Email address row, select Edit.
  4. In the Email address field, replace your old email address with your new one.
  5. In the Confirm email address field, re-enter your new email address.
  6. In the Password field, enter your current TurboTax password.
  7. Select Save.

 

TurboTax for tax year 2017 (or prior years):

  1. Sign in to TurboTax for tax year 2017: https://ww1.2017.turbotaxonline.intuit.ca/
  2. Choose a tax return in your account and select Continue to open it.
  3. In the upper-right corner, select Tools and then choose Update Account from the menu.
  4. In Account Settings, in the Email address row, select Edit.
  5. In the Email address field, replace your old email address with your new one.
  6. In the Confirm email address field, re-enter your new email address.
  7. In the Password field, enter your current TurboTax password.
  8. Select Save.
