I had to move due to financial circumstances before going bankrupt. I did move 50k closer to my job, does this qualify me to claim moving expenses on my 2016 taxes?

I took full possession of my home in 2015 after splitting with my ex, due to financial circumstances I had to sell before going bankrupt, I cashed in RRSP's during the year to hold me over till I sold and now have to pay a large return to CRA because of it. I would like to know if there is a chance I would be able to claim my moving and storage fee's that I incurred?

To claim moving expenses, your new home has to be at least 40 kilometres closer to your new place of work or business than your previous home. So, unless you started a new job or your work moved to a new location, you can't claim the expenses.
