I just purchased turbotax 2016 for the second time thinking i was buying turbotax 2017. is there a way to get a refund or credit toward turbotax 2017?

I made the purchase of turbotax 2016 by mistake thinking i was purchasing the 2017 version. it is unusable to me because i have already entered all returns for 2016. if it is possible to reverse the charge, would it be possible to just get it as a credit toward the 2017 version as I am going to purchase it as soon as it is available. thank you
