My wife died in 2017. Should I file separately or together

Even though I can't file electronically can I use Turbo tax and print.

I'm very sorry for your loss.

You'll need to prepare your return separately from your wife because she passed away before the end of the tax year. You'll be able to submit your return via NETFILE. Your wife's return will need to be filed by mail.

Note that if you decide to also file your return by mail, it will need to be mailed in a separate envelope from your wife's return.
