Can I use 2017 Standard version to fill in T2125 as I have done for last 15 years, or do I HAVE TO buy/upgrade to the Home Business version?

Helpdesk answer is that there will be a "suggestion" to upgrade (almost 4 times more). Is it a MUST or only a Suggestion?  WilI be able to work as usual using all forms for business and home expenses?

It's just a suggestion. TurboTax Standard has all the forms and schedules you need to prepare your return.

If you decline the upgrade, you'll miss out on the extra, expert guidance for self-employment income that comes with TurboTax Home & Business, but it sounds like you might be comfortable with out that!
