My CCA should be 30% of my UCC which equals $9,558.35 but TurboTax calculated my CCA at $2,913.37. This is the 2nd year for my claim so the 1/2 year doesn't apply. Help?

Is this being claimed as a rental expense?

No it isn't.  It's a vehicle that I purchased in full in 2016 and use it for work.

Thanks for your quick reply!  There is a personal portion.  Aha!  Of the total km driven in the year, only 41% were for work so...my CCA should be 41% of $9,558.35...am I understanding that correctly?

Just to make sure...what was the UCC at the beginning of the year?

January 01, 2017 - $31,861.17 (Purchase price the year prior 2016: $30,000 + HST = $33,900 less the 2016 CCA of $2,038.83 *as per notice form CRA).

That should still come to about $3919, if 41% was for work purposes.

Agreed.  That's why I am confused.  Could it be a "bug" in the system or was I miscalculating.  Even when I get to the "Motor Vehicle Expenses Summary", TurboTax tells me that the percentage of allowable expenses is 41.10% yet it's not giving me the correct CCA based on my UCC at the beginning of the year which is the figure that I input on the previous screen.
