Why does Turbo Tax caculate the CCA on Class 53 items using the 25 % first year 50% second year method when the goverment webpage says it should be just 50%

The government website also says that when you purchase an item during the year, the half year rule applies. Meaning that you only get to claim  half the cca in the year of purchase.
