I'm from Nova Scotia however I'm attending a full time training program in New Brunswick. Can I claim rent paid in NB while attending school?
Neither Nova Scotia nor New
Brunswick have any kind of “rent” based credit, so you can’t claim your rent at
all. Also, you generally can only claim credits for the province that you are
filing taxes for, and provincial credits usually limit you to things that have
happened within that specific province.
