I have split my pension income with my wife. my summary still shows the ttal and also gives her some so our combined total is way higher than it should be

The deduction for the pension split happens later in the return. Please click on the review tab and select "bottom line tax summaries"

Click "detailed tax summary" to see where it is deducted

Thanks the detailed summary showed the split income amount as a deduction. That is why the total income still shows the full pension income. Thanks
