Do I need to include a death certificate and copy of the will with a deceased person's final return?

I cannot find any clear indication if a death certificate and will need to be mailed with a final return.

No, the death certificate doesn’t have to be included with the tax return. However, you must send in a copy when you notify the CRA of the death. You also may need to provide a copy if you wish to get information about the deceased's tax records.
