Please make sure that your dependent is set up in your profile.
Once you've added your dependents, Go to Deductions on the Navigation Bar, you'll find the Medical Expenses Profile in the dropdown, and click on the check box - "You paid medical expenses entered for a dependent (other than your spouse or children under 18 years of age)" option and then continue to file.

I do not have a dependant other than my spouse or children....that's the problem.

Please remove the medical expenses you might have entered into the section "Medical expenses for a dependent other than your spouse or children) and then uncheck the check box which says - "You paid medical expenses entered for a dependent (other than your spouse or children under 18 years of age)". Then Continue to file.
