I am an employee who wants to attend a conference in my field. My employer will not reimburse me for any of the costs of attending. Can I claim convention expenses as deductions?
If it is required that you go to this conference as part of your employment and your boss signs a T2200 then yes, you can claim expenses otherwise you won't be able to.
