Cannot Load Turbotax 2018 CD

Cannot load turbotax 2018 onto computer.  Using Windows 10.  Getting two messages:  One - Install Wizard - "Error reading setup initialization file" and Two - "Not enough memory resources are available to process command".  I have 16G RAM and 1T Hard drive.   What is Intuit Turbotax doing about this?

Cannot Load Turbotax 2018 CD

Contacted Turbotax support.  Simple answer - faulty 2018 CD.  Support person immediately sent me an online link for a download version of 2018.  Installed no problem.  However, you will need the installation key code from your CD to complete the installation at the end.

I use a iMac running Parallels so that I can run Windows 10.  Here is the solution to the memory problem:

Kindly follow the steps as below:

1. Shut down your Windows virtual machine by clicking on the Windows LOGO to the bottom left within the Windows virtual machine > Shut Down or from the top left side in the Mac Menu Bar, click on the Actions > Shut Down.

2. Follow the steps in the article to get to your virtual machine's configuration - https://kb.parallels.com/117287

3. Now follow the steps in the article to change the Windows virtual machine's memory (RAM) - https://kb.parallels.com/113649 and change it to 8GB of virtual RAM to the Windows virtual machine.
