.tt18 and .ttbk files did not update. They appear with 2KB each. How do I recover these files?

.tt18 and .ttbk files exist but cannot be opened. They are only 2KB files in size.

In the folder where the files are, right click on the file and choose “Properties” at the bottom. Does a “Shortcut” tab appear? If it does, then that’s not a real file, it’s just a link to one. The “Target” box on the “Shortcut” tab tells you where the link goes to.
