Can I claim my education tuition without an official tax receipt? I have a receipt, just not an official tax receipt

I took the laser program at Rao Dermatology. It was a one month program, but it was full time for the entire month. For my tuition, they gave me a receipt along with the debit machine receipt from processing my card. Can I claim this under tuition fees?

This institution may not be issuing you an "Official Tax Receipt" or T2202A slip. If you have eligible tuition fees over $100 that are not on a T2202A or an RL-8 slip (for Québec residents), enter these fees in the "Eligible tuition fees" box.

You cannot enter any Education Months if you do not have an T2202A slip issued to you. You may want to ask the institution where you took your course if they do issues T2202A slips, as many will do so upon request.
