Why do I have rrsp contributions carried forward to a new year

If you used CRA's AutoFill service to import your tax information, you will often see an "RRSP CarryForward Amount" for an RRSP you may have contributed to in the past and missed claiming on your tax return.

CRA gets a copy of your RRSP Contributions, so they automatically add it as an "undeducted contribution".
