To enter your information for the Home Buyers' Credit, use the Find tool to search and select Payments Profile. On the screen that appears (Payments Profile), check off the option for First Time Home Buyers Amount and click continue.
@TurboTaxJennifer I don't see the checkbox on this screen: https://imgur.com/a/uvg0dsp.. after I click continue I don't see the amount claimed in the deduction or the detailed view.
EDIT: found the solution. One must:
1. navigate to Deductions -> Payments Profile -> Payments Profile in the sidebar 2. make sure "First Time Home Buyer's amount" is selected. 3. continue 4. enter amount
