I am renting out my primary recidence, do I use TurboTax Self-employed?

I need to decide which TurboTax product to purchase. I have a job which requires me to live over seas (factual resident of Canada though). PLUS I rent out my primary residence.

I would like somebody to look over my taxes after I prepare them or to prepare them for me. Which TurboTax product is best?

You can certainly use TurboTax Self-Employed, that’s generally recommended for use if you have your own non-incorporated business. If you are have rental income, we recommend Premier, which is a bit cheaper than Self-Employed. Unfortunately, our TurboTax Live products such as Assist & Review and Full Service are not available to people outside of Canada. Also be aware that you’ll need a Canadian or US credit card to pay for TurboTax, unless you use our iOS app, which uses ApplePay.
