Why there is no entry line 173 on Schedule 3 for Turbotax 2018 but there is one for 2017.

Input T3 info with amount in box 26 (Other Income), on back of T3 describing that input info for box 26 should also input amount from 'Footnote' box (if there is one) on line 173 on Schedule 3.  I received a T3 with box 26 amount and also an amount in the Footnote box but here is no input entry line 173 on Schedule 3 in Turbotax 2018 while line 173 was available for input in Turbotax 2017 and 2016.

T3 box 26 - This includes income from retiring allowances or severance pay, and certain trust income. This amount is included on line 130 of your T1.

As for S3 line 173, it was part of the schedule last year and years prior but has been removed this year, due to tax changes made. 2017 tax year from the CRA https://bit.ly/2XmeUTh

The confusing part is that all 2018 T3s contain instruction entry for Box 26 continue to enter amount (if present) from 'Footnote' box to line 173 on Schedule 3.

I hear ya! They will need to fix their footnote words for next year.
