    Do I have to start a new account to file my child's own income taxes

    You do not have to start a new TurboTax account, you just need to start a new income tax return in your child's name.  Please see the following link for instructions on how to start a new return when using TurboTax Online.

    You do not have to start a new TurboTax account, you just need to start a new income tax return in your child's name.  Please see the following link for instructions on how to start a new return when using TurboTax Online.
