Because of this, we recommend using TurboTax Desktop for Tax Year 2025 on Windows 11 (64-bit). See this page for TurboTax Desktop 2025 system requirements.
If you still want to use TurboTax 2025 on Windows 10, you acknowledge the security risks of using TurboTax Desktop on an unsupported operating system. Alternatively, you have two other options:
Update to Windows 11, following the steps on the Microsoft website.
Use TurboTax Online instead.
