As of 2016, the Canada Child Benefit (CCB) replaced the Universal Child Care Benefit (UCCB). Taxpayers no longer receive UCCB payments unless they were owed amounts from previous years.
Before following the steps below, first enter your information into TurboTax until the Find button appears in the menu.
- Select Find from the menu and enter universal
- Select Universal Child Care Benefit from the results, then select Go
- Answer the question Do you elect to include UCCB amounts in the income of the eligible dependant or child? and then select Done With UCCB
