On the Québec return, why is the amount claimed for the taxable capital gains deduction greater than the amount reported, causing a NETFILE error?

This is a known NETFILE issue when trying to file a TP1 return to Revenue Quebec for tax year 2025, through TurboTax Desktop. During the review, the amount claimed for the taxable capital gains deduction is higher than the capital gains reported, or there’s no eligible capital gain for the deduction. This makes the return ineligible for NETFILE Québec.

To work around this error, input $1 on line 58 of Schedule G to clear this validation.
