If you're mailing your return and have a balance owing, include a cheque or money order made out to the Receiver General for the amount due.
If you're using NETFILE and have a balance owing, you can make your payment in one of several ways:
- Through your bank's internet or telephone banking services
- Using the CRA's electronic payment options (My Payment or My Account)
- In person at your bank
- By mailing a cheque or money order made out to the Receiver General, along with a completed remittance form T7DR(A) (included in your tax package)
