What is the deadline for filing my income tax return?

The deadline to submit your individual tax return and payment for tax year 2025 is April 30, 2026 . You must submit your return via NETFILE or mail your paper return to the CRA before midnight.
If you're self-employed, you have until June 15, 2026 to file. However, if you owe any taxes, they must be paid by April 30, 2026 .
If you don't pay your taxes owed by April 30, 2026, you may be subject to late-filing fees.
