Online Payments - Partial

Can I complete and file my return now, and then make several partial payments by bank transfer to my CRA account before the filing deadline, rather than the entire payment now? As long as I make the entire payment by the filing deadline, there should be no penalty, correct?

Yes, you can complete and file your return now and make several partial payments by bank transfer to your CRA My Account. All methods of payment that the CRA accepts are available to people who file using NETFILE or by mail.

Just be sure to pay your tax balance before the tax deadline if you want to avoid interest charges.

NOTE: Your account number for paying your personal income tax owing is your Social Insurance Number.
