Can premium that I paid for my parent's private health insurance be claimed as a medical expense in my tax return? Parent is a visitor to Canada, not a Canadian resident.

No, you can only claim if your (or your spouse/partner's) parents, grandparents, grandchildren, brothers, sisters, aunts, uncles, nieces, or nephews depended on you for support and lived with you during the tax year, and who has been a Canadian resident during the tax year
