Where do I enter adoption expenses?
The non-refundable tax credit for adoption expenses is claimed by adding your adopted child as a dependant on your tax return and then entering the adoption expenses in the Deductions section of TurboTax.
Before you begin, ensure that your expenses are eligible expenses for adopting a child who was under age 18 at the time of adoption.
