Getting started
This is the taxable part of amounts received in the year that is more than the minimum amount. This amount is already included in Box 16. If the amount received relates to RRSP contributions you could not deduct from income, you may be able to claim an offsetting deduction on Line 232.

Getting started
You may need to contact your financial institution if you are not certain where the amount was from: whether it was from a withdrawal payment or transferred to an RRSP or transferred to a RRIF. You are to enter the amount in one of the box 24 according to where the money came from.
