Does the amount I paid for private medical insurance (box 85) on my T4 automatically carry over to the medical deductions section or do i need to re-enter this amount?
Yes, the amount in Box 85 of your T4 will automatically be included in the medical deductions section.Do not enter them again in Medical Expense Profile.
