I'm incorporated. Its only me to do subcontract work. I have an accountant who has filed my business taxes, do I need to turbotax self employed or personal?

I told my accountant I can do my personal taxes and when I try to do them it tells me I have to do the turbotax self employed... but whats the point if its all done by my accountant? I already have received notice of assessments for the business. I have just forgotten to do my personal taxes,

Getting started

Hello,

If you have just a T5 from your incorporated business you should be able to file using our Turbotax Deluxe product.  If you have other investments/self employed income then you will need to file in Premier/Self-Employed.  Hope this helps!

Getting started

Based on your question, you only need to file personal taxes and your business taxes are separate under a corporation. Please double check if you fall under self-employed and re-do the interview portion.  You can find details of self-employed here

Hope that helps!
