I've read all these submissions and I'm confused.  I'm using the ~$36 download version.  I've entered all my info and conducted the reviews/checks and at the end I too get the notice about forms not being finalized and am prevented from printing a final return or submitting by netfile.  I don't have capital gains or anything complicated as part of my return. 

Am I understand that some people are having success submitting or is everyone experience this same issue and prevented form filing?  Thanks

I'm not ready to jump ship.  its an amazing value for $35 when it works.  and it did for the 20 or so years I have used it.   I am prepared very early so am little miffed that I am stuck and like many should not be impacted by the captial gains 'change'.   

 

I agree, this is a horrible example of how to not communicate with your clients.  I would be very mad if I had a big refund sitting in the government coffers.  the crickets are deafening.

These forms are still locked by CRA & RQ and not finalized by yet. Please refer to this link Why does TurboTax say my forms are locked or haven't been finalized? 

We do not have any ETA on this yet but as soon a these forms gets finalize we will be updating them in TurboTax.

I have used Turbo Tax since it was originally called Quicktax and even as far back as the 80's when there was a package called "Manage Your Money".  I never had any issues but did use UFILE two years ago for my daughters income tax as they had sold their house and purchased another. There was a problem with entering something related to selling the house that Turbo Tax could not seem to handle so I did her tax that year with UFILE and it did the job.  I switched back to Turbo Tax for her taxes last year and again it was fine but this issue with not being able to file via NETFILE due to some forms not yet being updated is making me consider ditching Turbo Tax for good.  UFILE is all online which I would  prefer not to do but if this issue with Turbo Tax is not resolved soon I will switch to UFILE and if I have to I will not return to Turbo Tax.  An honest answer from the company as to what is happening and why would be good.  The message I got said wait until early March, now its late March.  Simply not acceptable.
