My husband has a lower income than me. Can I give him part of my income to lower my taxes?

Getting started
No you cannot give part of your income to your spouse. However if there was pension income, it may be eligible to be split and also investment income such as interest from canadian banks. There also some credits such as medical expenses, donations which can be claimed by the lower earning spouse.
