Do I include the sale of my property overseas which was my principal residence while I lived abroad and not a Canadian resident at the time?

Hi, thank you for using Intuit turbotax Live Community

Generally you have to report world wide income for the period after you became a resident of Canada for tax purposes.  Canada Revenue Agency (CRA) has information available at the following link:

https://www.canada.ca/en/revenue-agency/services/tax/international-non-residents/individuals-leaving...

This will help to determine the income you must report before and after your entry date. Look at the section with the heading: "What income do you have to report?"

Hope this helps
