What are the tax implications of being a homestay parent? how do I report the income? how will it affect my taxes when I decide to sell my house?

As a stay at home parent assuming no income from any where, your significant other should benefit because he/she is able to claim the full basic tax allowance as spousal credit.  In regard to your home, nothing happens when you sell if this principal place of residence.
