How do i remove the caregiver amount?only checked transfer tuition and education amounts for dependant but turbotax automatically adding caregiver amount.

To remove the Canada caregiver amount, please complete the following steps:

Open your TurboTax return
Click the find button at the top of the page; once there type in Caregiver Tax Credit in the search box and click go
Click enter credit info beside every dependent you have listed
Click Continue to save your information
Uncheck the box besides Canada Caregiver Amount; you have now removed the Canada caregiver amount
