@skelly73 The error is triggered because the T1198 is looking for the lump sum income from a T4 or T4A slip. And it is important, it has to be shown as a lump sum on the T-slip.
We suggest you to review the entries on your T1198 to make sure they are included on the T4 or on the corresponding T-slips.
Thank you for choosing TurboTax.

@RyanT Have you tried the previously provided solution?

I have the same problem, reported to the support team on 18Apr2026, they spent 1.5 hours examining the problem, doing all the things Admin_Susan mentioned, cleared the form, rounded the numbers, still not working. They then got my email and said they would reply my on Mon 20Apr2026. No reply, I reported the problem again. The support agent said someone will email me....nothing rec'd yet, now is evening 22Apr2026. Still cannot Netfile the return due to that error.
The early reply from Anqua which admitted there is an error on their side and then left for good...
Seems like I need to print the return to send by post?!

Thanks Aniqua for the quick reply, you're the best.
I still get the same error.
When you say the error is fixed, can you tell me when it was fixed? I encountered this error last Sat 18Apr. I then called the support team, they used "screenshare" to look at the problem, "escalate" the problem and finally told me they need the development team to look at it.
Just FYI, I am using the desktop version, 00.01.81 Build 8002 068G26. I noticed they is no update to the software since I reported the problem. And just to let you know, actually, I have played with the form T1198 with various numbers, no matter what I put it, the same error will pop up at review, hence, there is no way I can Netfile my return as long as I have T1198 entered. I have also entered 0 in all boxes where there should be nothing (hoping it can help clear an uninitialized array in programming term), but still no luck. I tried entering round numbers to avoid precision errors in the calculation of real numbers, no luck. I tried leaving box 68518 blank, no luck, as turbotax calculates the other numbers by itself.
Anyway, I really appreciate your quick reaction and I hope you can confirm the build version I'm using is the most update one and also whether the problem should have been fixed even before Sat 18Apr2026.

@PatrickChiu All forms were finalized by the first week of April. I see you called twice, and the issue has been escalated based on the notes provided. I've requested a call back from the assigned team so that they can start an investigation if necessary. SLA for a call back is 24 to 48 hours. I appreciate your patience.
Your software is up to date.

As I said, Aniqua, yuo ARE the best.
I just got the call back from the support team, the also great support team member Michelle, who solved my problem efficiently.
The problem is because the T4A wrongly put the Box 18 amount in Box 16. I called the issuer and they will issue a new T4A to me.
Big big thanks again....
