I am filing jointly with my wife. Do I need to create a second return for my wife or can I do it on the same form?
When I started my return I indicated that I was filing for myself and for my wife. Do I need to file a separate return for her or can I do it on the return as mine?

After you file
Great question!
When filing jointly with your wife, you complete it all on one tax return file.
At the beginning of the filing process, you'll select that you're married and filing jointly. This will guide you to enter both your and your wife's information within the same file; however, you do need to create a separate return for your wife.
