AFR is not working tonight. I'm able to connect to CRA & it starts to download/save data to turbo tax but then fails on a disconnect from CRA site. Anyone else?

If you are using TurboTax Online, please clear your browser cache (or use a different browser), and try again. How to enable AFR for 2022 Tax return?   Is it AFR available for 2023 Tax return?

Please log into your CRA My Account- and you will be able to use AFR for both years return.

Where, how?

 

I have the same issue as mrmcompserv2, trying to do my 2022 return but there is no options for AFR. I start a new return and it takes me step by question up to the point of asking to fill in T4 and similar forms that should be available to auto-fill.

 

Working online on a PC. There is a youtube video (https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=dxf8Tffxmxo) from a few years ago that shows option to auto-fill the return on the left side navigation - but I only have "my returns" not any of the others. This video also shows a "find" feature and searching for AFR brings up page that provides the link to myCRA - while I have no find, and the help feature doesn't understand either "auto-fill" or "AFR" as brings up results for RRSP and CERB which is no help.

 

I've logged into my CRA account and cannot find anywhere there either to try and send the info into a new TurboTax return, so your advice to "Please log into your CRA My Account- and you will be able to use AFR for both years return." isn't useful when not getting the option in the first place.

Log into My CRA Account (not from your return), then on your return you will go to Auto-FIll my return and click Launch CRA site.
