bought Premier Online Edition turbotax from COSTCO for 2023 tax return, Why I have to pay for Turbotax self employed online when i want to file?

I have a rental property on my tax return, Turbotax Premier is not covering this?

For 2023, TurboTax Premier Online doesn't cover rental income, so you will need to use the Self-Employed version.

thank you for the quick answer, on the box of the Premier was not explaining very well that rental is not included in this application. Every year i bought Premier and the rental was included. Can I just pay the difference between Premier and Self employed?

Thank you

@vgavriliuc Yes. If you used your activation code before starting your return, it should only charge you the difference between Premier and Self-employed.

This is disappointing in 2024 as Costco's description of download premier says that it does rental income. I hope Intuit can alert Costco to the difference before there is a rush of errors. It used to make sense to use the premier product before as a couple but the price jump to the self-employed option doesn't justify the cost.

@c_stevens TurboTax Desktop Premier version does cover the rental income but the Online Premier version doesn't have  that option.

Thanks for choosing TurboTax.
