Professional memberships require an upgrade. This doesn't make sense to me nor have I had to upgrade before. It's not worth it. Why?

I have always put in one membership in the past and never had to upgrade.  This doesn't make sense to me.

Professional memberships/Union Dues is not included in the Free version of TurboTax Online as of the 2021 tax year.
