What tax slips can I download through the CRA's Auto-fill my return service?
by TurboTax•1• Updated 1 week ago
For tax season 2024, certain slips and other information from the CRA can be imported directly into your TurboTax return using the Auto-fill my return (AFR) service starting on February 19, 2024. To use AFR, you need full access to CRA My Account.
A slip provider must submit their slip information to the CRA before that provider’s slips can be accessed by AFR. Not all slips and information are available when AFR opens for the tax season. Slip providers' due dates vary by slip type. Once the CRA receives the slips from your provider, it can take a few days for your information to appear in your CRA My Account.
Note: Non-capital losses, capital gains and losses, capital gains deductions, and the T1204 slip aren't available for import into TurboTax.
For tax year 2024, providers' information is due to the CRA by February 19, 2024 for these slips:
T2202 - Tuition Enrolment Certificate
T4 - Statement of Remuneration Paid
T4A - Statement of Pension, Retirement, Annuity, and Other Income
- Your imported T4A may not appear on the import summary screen in TurboTax.
