Im inputting self employment, and it says there will be a line item for rent when you work from home, but it never showed up. Where do I input this?

To do this in TurboTax Online Self-Employed:

  1. Click on the “Find” icon in the blue menu and search for “Self”. Select “Self-Employment Summary” and then click the “Go” button.
  2. Click “Edit” next to the business you want to make changes to.
  3. Click on the “Business-use-of-home expenses” near the bottom of the list.
  4. In the “Did you use a part of your home for work?” section, you can answer questions regarding your home office space. You can put your rent in as an “Other Expense”.
