How do I buy more tax returns?

You can file up to 20 returns per account per tax year. Here's how to add a new return in TurboTax Online. You pay for a return when you're ready to file.

1. Select Help from the menu, then select Purchase more returns. The Tax Centre step appears
2. Select Purchase More Returns. A pop-up window prompting you to sign in to your account should appear. If you don't already have an account, create one, then follow the prompts
3. On the Shopping Cart step, enter the number of returns you want to buy in the Qty field
4. Make sure that the country and province in the Calculate taxes section match where you live
5. If the country and province are correct, go to the next step in these instructions. If the country or province isn't correct, select the correct answer from the dropdown list, then select Update Cart
6. Select Checkout. The Checkout step will then appear
7. Fill out the form, then select Continue. The Checkout step refreshes and the payment information section appears
8. Follow the on-screen instructions until the check-out process is complete

Note: The CRA has a limit of 20 tax returns per computer or online account for all NETFILE-certified tax preparation software products in Canada. For example, if you installed TurboTax Standard on a computer and have already filed the eight returns that come with it, you can purchase up to 12 additional returns to file from that computer.
