How do I start a new tax return in the online edition of TurboTax?

To begin, make sure you are signed in to your TurboTax account. Next, select the year you need to prepare a tax return for from the list provided:

• Current year
• TurboTax Online for tax year 2022
• TurboTax Online for tax year 2021

Note: 2018 and prior tax years are no longer available.

To start a new tax return based on the tax year you signed in to, select Start a new return from the menu.
