How do I claim the Canada caregiver credit?
by TurboTax•1• Updated 1 week ago
If you support a spouse, common-law partner, or dependant with a physical or mental impairment, then the Canada caregiver credit (CCC) may be available to you. This nonrefundable tax credit is designed to help caregivers with the costs and expenses of providing care to loved ones.
To see if you qualify for the CCC, and to determine the amounts you may be eligible to claim, go to the CRA: Canada caregiver credit page. You'll need a copy of this information when preparing your return in TurboTax.
