What is the deadline for filing my income tax return?

The deadline to submit your individual tax return and payment for tax year 2024 is April 30, 2025. You must submit your return via NETFILE or mail your paper return to the CRA before midnight.

If you're self-employed, you have until June 15, 2025 to file. However, if you owe any taxes, they must be paid by April 30, 2025.

If you don't pay your taxes owed by April 30, 2025, you may be subject to late-filing fees.
