Activation issues 2024ax

I have had a number of hardware failures (associated with parallels for Mac) when trying to active and use Turbotax 2024. How can I reset my activation code and start over? I am being told that 3 of 3 have been used but I don't have access to any. Please help - I don't want to have to buy another copy of this software only because I'm having technical issues. And I haven't been able to get in touch with anyone on the phone. I've been a long time Turbotax user and this is the first time I'm having this problem. Thanks.

Unfortunately, TurboTax Desktop is only compatible with Windows products, and we don't support using the software on a Mac. You can use TurboTax Online with Mac OS computers, but the codes for TurboTax Online will not work with TurboTax Desktop & vice-versa.

If you bought TurboTax from a 3rd party retailer and need to request a refund, you can do so on this page: https://turbotax.community.intuit.ca/community/after-you-file-questions/help/how-do-i-get-a-refund-for-a-turbotax-product/00/873559

Thanks. I use the software in windows but I had a lot of software issues with windows so my activations have been used up. I’m looking for how to get this reset as I cannot do my taxes now even though I’ve paid for the software. I bought directly only through intuit. Please advise how I can get some resolution on this front. Thank you.

@linusto TurboTax Desktop allows 3 installations. It looks like you have used all 3 of them.

They may have been ‘used’ but I’ve had repeated hardware failures and no longer have access to the software. And I can’t file my taxes unless I repurchase another licence. I’ve been using turbotax for years and this is the first time I’ve had this type of issue. But I can’t seem to get the help that I need as a long time loyal user of the software

@linusto Have you purchased the product directly from Intuit, or it a retail purchase? You can have 3 installations allowed using the same license code.
