How do I backup or copy the TurboTax program from my pc to a usb drive? I have backed up the tax file to a usb for future use BUT that file will be useless unless I have the actual TurboTax program for that year installed on the pc. I need to delete 2018 TurboTax to make room for Turbotax 2022.

Put that on your USB drive and then if you need to, you can reinstall the software using the installer. You should also put a copy of the License Code on the drive in a text or Word file. To get the code, go into TurboTax, select View>Summary>Return Counter Summary from the top menu. Then click on the Details button to see your code.
You can also get a PDF copy of your return, so in the event that you can’t install the software anymore, you can still look at your return.
