The license code sent to me doesn't work to download Turbotax Premier 2024. They provide a link where you can enter your license code. I clicked on that link and tried entering the code multiple times and it keeps saying "something's not right, try again". I am definitely entering the code correctly, please do not ask me to try entering it again. The code does not work. I tried calling support but they are only open while I'm at work, and I need to do this outside of work hours. I purchased the license from Turbotax directly, not from a 3rd party.
Please let me know how to get the code I have to work.

You can reinstall TurboTax Desktop Tax Year 2024 and use the 16-digit license code once it prompts.
If the issue still persists please contact product support so they can screenshare and assist you to get this resolved.

I see a lot of people having problems with their codes not working. None of the solutions mention that if you are in CANADA you need to download a different version of the software and if you just google 'turbotax download' it will take you to the US site. Plus the site itself does not prompt you to choose Canada or the US version, which would be nice. Something like "Hey, are you from Canada? Check out this link instead for your software" would be helpful. Anyway, I ended up calling, had to uninstall the version I had downloaded as it was not the correct version, and then had to ensure I was on the turbotax canada site downloading the Canadian software. Part of the issue was I could not find the email with the link, because it comes from a 'donotreply' email, so when I searched for turbotax, or intuit, this email did not come up. Hopefully this will help some other Canadians who did the same as me, and downloaded the incorrect software.

Turbo Tax needs to fix this issue ASAP.

Are you using an Online version of TurboTax or a Desktop Version? Where did you purchase the product from?

Did you try downloading from turbotax.ca? I made the mistake of just googling 'turbotax' and ended up downloading the US version from turbotax.com. Try this: https://turbotax.intuit.ca/tax/software/download. I actually purchased mine directly from turbotax so all I had to do was find the email that had the download link, but I believe the above turbotax.intuit.ca link will likely be what you need. My main problem was that I couldn't find the email with the link. It was in my junk, and it took some time to filter for it properly as it didn't immediately come up when I just searched for 'turbotax' because I also get newsletters from turbotax. Turns out the receipt with the download link came from a slightly different email address so searching 'turbotax' wasn't helpful for me. Anyhow, hope that helps. And Turbotax help people, instead of messaging back and forth asking a million questions, can't you just put the link to the Canadian download in the messages? Truthfully, it doesn't much matter where it's purchased from, the downloads are not different if it's purchased at staples vs Costco. Stop the insanity and just put ALL the relevant, helpful info into the same email please!
